RICK STEPHENChef Rick an Australian born 3rd generation chef who has worked in many major hotel chains, top end Clubs, own his own restaurant for 12 years, winning numerous restaurant awards including ‘ Best BYO Restaurant in Australia‘.
Rick has competed in many competitions, winning Australian Chef of the Year, Chef of Chefs for 3 times and Captained Queensland and Australia teams at various competitions.
He’s a Gold Medal winner at Food Asia - Singapore, Culinary Olympics - Germany, Luxembourg World Cup, Fine Foods – Sydney & Melbourne, Sapporo – Japan, Detroit – USA. He led as Team Captain of Culinary Team Australia 1990 – 1995, Team Manager of Culinary Team Australia 2002 – 2008
In 2005 he became Honorary Life Member of WACS, and in 2007 Honorary Life Member of the Australian Culinary Federation, he’s a WACS Accredited jury member and since 2008 a Member of WACS Culinary Committee
He’s currently working as Executive Chef for Singapore Airport Terminal Services – SATS.Chef Rick has been Jury member at various competitions including the Culinary Olympics 1996, 2000, 2004, and 2008.
