Matthias Rauhut

Born in Stuttgart, Germany, Matthias has started his culinary career in his hometown Stuttgart with a finished Chefs apprenticeship and continued his career in the mountains of Switzerland on a one year stint in the famous town of Arosa.

He has been working in various large 5 star establishments in different countries such as in England, South Africa, Mexico and aboard a luxury cruise vessel.

After having finished Hotel Management School with degree in Hotel Economics from “Hotelfachschule-Heidelberg” Germany, he then continued his career in Namibia as Executive Chef and went to the USA for a management trainee program in the culinary field.

Matthias is now working at the federal employment agency (ZAV-Bonn) for last 8 years as consultant and adviser in the recruitment of staff within the international hospitality field.

He also took part in various international job fairs and visited different Culinary Competitions such as the IKA in Erfurt.

As part of his career he also participated in a EURES-adviser training course in order to help hospitality staff to find jobs within the European countries.
