ALFRED ROLAND BURGERChef Freddy Burger is a Swiss citizen, which was trained in a country side pastry shop east of Switzerland, where he learned the skills in Pastry, and bakery products. He constantly developed he’s skills by taking seminars and training sessions in the following sections of Cake Decorating, Marzipan Modeling Techniques, Sugar work School, Ice Cream Frozen Desserts , Pastry Dough, Bread Baking, Pastry Products at the famous Richemont bakery school in Lucerne, Switzerland.
He then worked in various hotels and pastry shops in Switzerland before joined in 1988 the Chosun Westin Hotel in Korea as there pastry chef, from there followed assignments in Hilton Tokyo, Grand hotel catering Taipei, Taiwan, Sheraton Laguna, Phuket, pastry consultant in Taiwan, and since 2006 he is the executive pastry chef for Thai international Catering here in Bangkok.
Chef Freddy is not a newcomer to culinary competitions, as he‘s teams in Japan, Taiwan and Phuket has won several awards under he’s leadership and coaching.
