FEDERICO MICHIELETTO

Chef Federico has spent the last 20 years of his life mostly in the kitchens. He’s a native of Mogliano, Veneto a small town in between the island of Venice, and the hill of Treviso. He’s the second son of a large family with tree brother and four sisters, graduated from the Italian Culinary of Art Institute of Castelo Franco Veneto Italy.

He refined his skills in various fine restaurants and hotels of his native land. During his tenure, he envisioned a more innovative Italian cuisine by integrating traditional recipes with novel flavours, resulting in new and original creations.

Chef Federico is also the Author of “Pasta from My Italy” a Winner of Gourmand Award for one of the best 10 book Italian in the world 2008.

Revered for his incredible, contemporary Italian cuisine, Federico’s skills and reputation brought his talents to independent restaurants and hotels in Italy, Singapore and Malaysia. Now days, with his stay in Malaysia, he has been involve in many way in the food and beverage scenario as President of The Chefs Association of Malaysia with different involvement from chef association, CHAINE des Rotisserie and international competition.

Chef Federico has achieved international accreditation as International Culinary Judge for the WACS (World association of Chef Society).

He has been part of the Jury for Bocuse d’Or Asia 2008 in China, and then again represents Malaysia in France as a Judge for Bocuse d’Or in Lyon 2009 for the world final. He has also been judged in various competitions mainly in Malaysia and there neighbouring countries.
