MESSAGE FROM THE ORGANISATION COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN

For over 15 years I have been organizing culinary competitions here in Thailand and always had the vision of something different and spectacular. About two years ago I meet an old friend of mine, that was organizing culinary competition in the other part of the world, and since he has moved now to Bangkok, we found that the time is right for this vision to be realized. For the past 9 months we have gathered information’s, have meetings with people that would back up our idea and finally came up with Asia’s 1st Culinary Cup, that we will present to you here in Thailand.

We can offer you a well organized contest, with the warm hospitality that Thailand and he’s people has, along with a culture were eating is close to religion, not just part of the daily routine. Bangkok has excellent Hotels, restaurants eateries and an almost every corner you find street shop that offers you a meal for less than 1 Euro.

Our organizing committee consists of many culinary and exhibition experts have done there outmost that all your needs and request will be handled and also executed in a professional style. We make sure that you feel like been in your own kitchen during the contest and will provide as much assistance you may need during your performance to make it perfect.

A WORD FROM THE INTERNATIONAL JURY PRESIDENT

Dear professional colleagues & culinary friends,

I would like to invite you all to the 1st ever held Asia’s Culinary Cup 09 here in the city of angles and congratulate you all for coming here and show your culinary expertise’s and talents, that you will demonstrate in the various classes and contests that we have offered, along with all your co-contesters from all over the world.

I will guarantee you all a very fair and professional judgment and evaluation of your workmanship for the entire show.

As a long time exhibitor and a member of the national culinary team myself, I am well aware of the modern trends and expectations to an international culinary competition of this level. Our international jury panel consists of excellent experts with a huge professional experience from all over the world.

Asia’s 1st Culinary Cup 09 will focus on the best culinarians form the Asia but also from other parts of the world to give it the additional challenge. We hope that with this competition we will set and see some new trends and standards in the culinary art so everyone can enjoy it in many restaurants all around the globe.

Once again I would like to welcome you all here in the kingdom of Thailand, that can offer a culinary experience itself with there world know cuisine and culinary artistic.

MESSAGE FROM THE TCA PRESIDENT

Dear chefs of the world, on behalf of all members of the Thai Chefs’ Association it is my great pleasure for me to invite you all to come to my country and take part in Asia’s 1st Culinary Cup here in Bangkok. Being participating myself in the past in international contest, such as the IKA Culinary Olympics twice and in FHA Singapore, I be honored to be your host during the upcoming contest and can ensure you that me and my members will do all to make your stay and visit a very memorable one.

We hope that with this contest we will be able to show the world that Thailand is able to cope with any other international competition in respect to organization and hospitality.

We have chosen a competition are that is reach able by sky train, but we have also organized a transport service free of charge for all participants to all major hotels and places of interest here in Bangkok, to help and fight the notorious traffics in our lovely city.
